recap for 2007

with 2007 ending, i shall recap on what happened for the one year.

12 months, 365 days. time really flies.

it's been a busy year 2007 for me because i've got a bigger heavier responsiblity as a vice president of canoeing club. lots of planning of club stuffs for the year. been advisor for the annual expedition once again and it was great getting to know many juniors, their passion in the sport. it's always fun to guide the juniors along and through expedition, it has always been the opportunity and chance to know more about them.

got myself a 4th position medal at PA race but was so embarassed to go up and take the medal if not for jeremy who told me to just go and take since it's what i earned for. glad enough that before year 2007 end, i got my 3rd position round ubin marathon medal with serene. it's certainly something good to end my canoeing years in np with.

school was great definitely this year with the time spend spend with my polymates and my canoeist friend and i certainly hope that after we graduate in 2008, we will still be able to get to meet up with each other.

as for my personal little time with my life after subtracting out my training days and time with my beloved club, i got a new job at mitju/freshbox but kind of guilty because i'm always busy with my sport that i seldom work. glad to know some good colleagues from there and hope to continue to meet them up be it shopping or just chilling out session.

got hospitalised for the 1st time in my 20 years and it was certainly not a good experience to yearn for. luckily nobody visited me except for my lovely parents and brothers and my aunt. anyway i also didn't really tell my friends i was hospitalised cause i don't want them to visit me in my shagged look. haha!

oh well, 2007 has certainly been an enriching year and marching into 2008, i hope i will be able to finish my attachment and graduate. ns life will most probably be taking part bulk of my time in year 2008 but fear not friends, there's always weekends to meet me ya? and i certainly hope i won't be that busy to neglect my personal life. btw, i'm so looking forward to my ns life and i hope i won't regret looking forward to it. HEHE.

2008 will be a brand new year will lots of unforseen happenings but i'll be able to conquer each and every obstacles and live the year with no regrets!

i bless that year 2008 will be smooth sailing for everyone =D

i went central today with my kor kor to shop because he wants to buy cny clothes. like so early?!? anyway he successfully convince me to go out with him although i feel so much like slacking at home because he said he will pay for my shopping today. HAHA.

lunch was on him. i brought him to try "Full House" because tv got advertise that their egg on carrot cake dish is nice. what shock me when i went there was that their shop offer a brand new menu for their customers now. they now offer rice meals. woot!

it's a totally worth spending meal because the apple curry rice is YUMMY. the taste is exactly like the canteen 3 the curry rice stall which i had last time but now the stall close already. i was so excited after tasting the curry that i faster sms shihua and told her i found her long lost favourite curry. super nice!

went this shop "Dusty". it's opened by this mediacorp artiste guy, Ben and his clothes are hmm, towards hip hop kind of trend. i bought this cute tee and guess what size i wear for that tee? it's M size. like wah! so not the kind of size which i would try on.

the dressing room was unique. they got a chair inside the dressing room. maybe for you to sit on to pose and perhaps take pictures? hehe.

this tee cost $48 and is paid by my kor kor. HEHE. the colour is kind of unique. it's grey in colour.

went vivo-ing after that and got myself a river island belt for $53. i paid myself cause quite bad asking my kor kor to pay again. somemore this time it's so expensive.

my kor kor bought 2 tops 2 bottoms for cny already. gosh! so fast and i still haven't fancy any nice clothes to buy except that vest at river island for $123. WAH LAO. sometimes i wish that my taste isn't so expensive.

anyway last day tomorrow for those of you who love shopping and want to grab something out from the big sales going out there. =D

pray hard for tomorrow. hope my school supervisor is not going to give me any bad surprises and i've told my mama to wake me up early tomorrow so that i won't be late for work.

i received a bad news from my school email today. they want us to continue working even after submitting our report and after we have done our presentation until 2 feb. GRR! although i get to have january's pay but i don't want. i really don't mind not having the money. all i want is to leave the place to somewhere that belongs to me.

anyway sorry karen! i realised i didn't have your picture taken in my handphone. oops! think too many people already yesterday so i didn't notice that you are being miss out. don't sad ok? i promise to take picture with you the next time we meet up.

alright, 2 more working days to endure before my weekend break. i'm kind of suffering from monday blue today although it's wednesday. i had no mood to do anything in the office the whole day. in the end, i only manage to do my report page cover and content page.

Merry Christmas!!! may this festive day bring joy and happiness to everyone of you.

i had my chocolate christmas logcake this erm, afternoon? cause i wake up at 12pm. HEHE.

out to town to meet my polymates. i was late as usual but well, late but better than never reach. thanks to jingjing for buying the tickets earlier, we get to watch the debut of this new movie today.

"I Am Legend" speaks of this brilliant scientist who is the last human survivor in what is left of New York City and maybe the world. he is surrounded by the infected victims of the plague who have mutated into carnivorous beings who can only exist in the dark and who will devour or infect anyone or anything in their path. his mission is to find a way to reverse the effects of the virus using his own immune blood but his blood is also what the infected hunt, and Neville knows he is outnumbered and quickly running out of time.

the duration of the movie is 100mins. it's an action kind of movie but what i thought would have been better is that maybe we could have a more indept of the story. perhaps it would leave us with a more deeper impression of the movie.

i rate it 3.5 out of 5 stars!

gift exchange session after movie. all of us pick numbers and get the gift. guess what? i got the gift which karen bought and all of them was like saying "good luck, i think karen bought something that she like herself and it's only meant for girls".

guess karen's gift? it's a woman perfume. THANKS hor karen! thanks jasmine and jingjing for their gifts also.

pastamania for dinner. had my usual ham & sausage baked rice because it's filling and nice.

took pictures outside PS and the group pictures in jingjing's camera so yah, i shall wait for the pictures. please send worx busy jingjing.

half day on christmas eve

it's christmas eve and i got a much awaited good news from my industrial supervisor in the afternoon that it's half day today. woohoo~

left the office and went clarke quay for lunch plus last minute shopping. after that met up with exgirlfriend for vivo-ing!

so many people at vivo but at least better than orchard crowd i guess. we saw this sk jewellery christmas tree and this swarovski tree which made us go WAH. it must be a damm expensive tree with all the diamonds that the security guard was standing there to look after.

shopping! i got myself a new shorts for $39.90 from "spade". yah i know like huh? from spade, a normal teenager shop like freshbox but don't care lah! cheap and nice. hehe.

went toastbox for tea session with vickie's friend elson and hmm, can see both of them bickering for very long. like watching movie.

thanks for the christmas gifts from sibao and elva the green. it's very cute and nice. thanks =)

elva wish that i get a cute girlfriend and be a singer. wah! cute girlfriend leh. i also hope i bump into my miss right soon but where is she? *sighs* please let me bump into her asap ok? hehe.

public holidays are splendid. i love holidays.

friday was nothing special so i didn't bother to blog. you know attachment is boring to the max.

22 Dec 2007 (Sat)

did you eat your "tang yuan"? i guess it's the festival cause my mum made them to offer prayings to the gods. the soup is kind of sweet but the tang yuan is nice. it's strawberry flavour.

i was out for wedding dinner because my papa couldn't make it on time to attend his client's daughter wedding dinner so i had to attend it with my kor kor. the dinner was at regent hotel royal pavilion ballroom so as expected it's a big kind of function. there was about 100 over tables and heard from my papa that the client is very rich. he can afford to give each of his 3 sons one condo each.

the couple was compatible. the guy was like so sweet. there was one clip which he show that night. it was a surprise meant for his wife on him learning how to make cupcakes for his soon-to-be wife the night before the wedding. he said that the cupcakes were meant to let her eat on the wedding day itself because he reckon that his wife would be too anxious and busy to eat anything so he don't want his wife to go hungry. AWW~ so caring of him.

anyway he said during his speech that he's a discipline master at dunearn secondary and will be moving to a school in sengkang to teach because his new home will be at sengkang.

left halfway and went to geraldine's christmas gathering. gosh! they play the water helmet

thing on me when i reach there and got me all wet luckily with water and not some other sticky liquid. i'm so dumb please. water dripping and me and i still sit up straight let it drip on me. stunned.

did christmas gift exchange and i got collin's alcohol chocolate. it's nice! when you bite on the chocolate, there's the whiskey alcohol flowing out into your mouth. taste so shiok.

celebrated lex's birthday and then we witness geraldine's snowy horny side with liangcheng. he just stick his leg out and the dog went to erm...lie on his leg and did the "humping" action for very long until so many of us take video. gosh! and mind you, the dog's a female sterilised dog and still so horny. kaoz.

here's another picture of her other dog. her dogs are all so cute! i love her snowy dog cause it's like cushion when you touch her but her snowy dog so horny.

there was also the me and elva scandal for the night. gosh! haha. i know i love GREEN but "alamak!" (elva's fav quote). for those who took pictures. don't forget to send me. thanks! =)

last but not least. thanks to jiaying and her bf fangxiong for the ride home. it really save a lot of my cab fare when i took home from seletar reservoir.

went for my secondary school class 4G gathering. thanks to minzhen who took the time to get as many of us out despite our busy life after graduating. i was late for like almost 1 hour cause i overslept. HEHE. tired mah. cannot blame. i love to sleep.

it was nice catching up with all my secondary school classmates because it has been like years since i last saw them. all of them change until so different now and the guys are like mostly in ns now.

ate at the "village" at heeren's basement for the first time and the food sucks. it cost 14 bucks for the many stripped potato pieces, a smoked salty salmon and an egg. i can't imagine the place look so high class but the food is so not value for money.

took group pictures outside and off to cineleisure to watch "National Treasure: Book of Secrets".

the movie wasn't bad except for the starting part. boring until i almost doze off. it's about this treasure hunter Ben Gates who once again set out on an exhilarating, action-packed new global quest to unearth hidden history and treasures. the duration of the movie is 126 minutes so don't forget to empty your bladder first before you step into the movie theatre to watch it.

i rate it 4 out of 5 stars!
new week tomorrow and i love the many public holidays coming up. christmas day on tuesday and new year day on the next tuesday after christmas. it's like working 4 days in a week now. WEE~ how great can my life working so little and yet enjoying so much.

sorry for not updating regularly.

tuesday was out with jiaying, geraldine, lex, junsheng, ethan and jeremy for dinner. nice catching up session with them. yesterday went down land training but sighs, so little people turn up. no sprinters at all. only got polo guys and polo girls.

today was great! i slept until 2pm. so unwillingly wake up. it's super nice being able to sleep for long hours. somemore my mum change a new bed for me yesterday cause she say the mattress quite old already. so sweet right? hehe.

did spring cleaning for my wardrobe and clear away many old clothes. now my wardrobe is ready for IMPORTING. shopping soon. WEE~ also i packed my computer table. now it looks so neat and tidy.

tomorrow's one more last day of work before my weekend break. this weekend's gonna be fun cause got geraldine's BBQ gathering and SHIT! i still have not get the gifts for the christmas exchange session. how how? oops.

kbox again today.

it's like consecutively on last sunday and this sunday. no new songs updated yet but nice singing. now i'm feeling so fat from not exercising for such a long time. time to go run, swim, gym and perhaps tan but i need to dig time out!

i just realised i had slack on my sofa from like since the afternoon onwards. star awards 2007 tonight was nice. GREEN seems to be the "in" colour now. i can see jessica's dress GREEN. huang biren's dress GREEN. congrats to felicia chin for getting into the top 10. her yellow dress simply look gorgeous on her and her not the normal thank-you speech was well said with all the well use of chinese vocabulary words. thumbs up~

assignment from company due on 24 dec, 10k report and viva presentation slides due on jan 14. WAH WAH!

i seriously need to lock myself up on the coming weekends to finish them if not i will be so DEAD.

will i be able to do that? hmm...how how???

b'day celebration + eating spree

Happy Birthday to Shi Hua & Weiqiang!!! finally the 2 december babies join us in our 20 years old group.

ate ajisen for dinner at only 9 plus after all of them turned up. gosh~ they all really LATE QUEENS & KINGS. luckily i didn't pass out from waiting them because i was dead hungry. i trusted karen for her recommendation of crayfish ramen and it turn out yum yum like suprisingly cause karen always say the food nice when the food actually taste horrible. only thing bad about the food was that the crayfish very difficult to scrap out the meat.

and seriously i hate this DISGUSTING and NON EYE-PLEASING baby octopus side dish. to think that mingsheng still want me to try and put one of it into my mouth and chew it, bite it, taste it. a big big NO NO please. i can't imagine putting one of it into my mouth. it's like so yucky. *vomit*

now the fun part of the night. going to shi hua's house there to celebrate her birthday. we planned until nice nice where the different people should station at and MUAHAHA! all the spraying, throwing of flour, smashing of cake. fun fun! i run away until can die please cause i don't want to be smashed. shi hua so poor thing. i did a bad thing by smashing the whole piece of cake on her head and ran away and she thought it was mingsheng who did it.

"Din Tai Fung" day!

as promised to sibao. we decided to try out this chinese restaurant at wisma and find out what's so special about the food they served that make people forgive the restaurant for the long waiting time.

we ordered 6 dishes. steamed chicken soup, sour spicy soup, steamed dumplings, fried egg rice with pork, prawn with shrimp shao mai and steamed yam paste dumplings. total damage to our pockets is $53.65 (inclusive of gst of $4.56).

and yes! both of us finish the 6 dishes without any bit left. HAHA! damm full after that so we decided to go shopping and this is what i tried at topman. the overall will be nice if there's black vest. sighs! the vest with the cutting i want is out of stock already and i can't seem to find it anywhere.

bought a black slim cut jeans and sibao dare me to try borrowing member card for the 10% from people who has it and i did. oops! damm uncle but aiya got discount why waste right? hehe.

town was seriously CROWDED. like seriously. squeezing through the crowds was like GRR~ i hate crowds and how i wish i have wings to fly above all the people or perhaps teleport to the place which i want to go.

does this remind you of the crowd during cny shopping? and cny will be back in like 2 more month's time. time really flies.

had ya kun for dinner because i was still feeling full from the big feast. the iced milk tea was nice. no doubt giving it a try if you happen to drop by there.

christmas is around the corner and everywhere you walk on town, you can see christmas tree. i got a very crazy idea. i feel like going around town snapping pictures of all the christmas trees? anyone wanna join me? it would be so nice. HEHE.

okok. i'm MAD. but ya this are the 2 christmas trees which i took at two different places today. so pretty.

reached home late last night cause i was out with geraldine, serene and alfred.

went over town after work to meet serene and alfred got his new oakley shades. super nice. i'm like so tempted to buy cause serene promised to give me 25% staff discount so that's like $382.50 from $510.

should i buy it? it's like so expensive and i can't imagine my bank savings depleting if i buy it. it would only mean that i'm more and more not possible of realising my dream of going holiday after i graduate. *sighs* anyone willing to chip in my oakley? HEHE.

went to breko to meet brian, ethan and weizheng but decided to eat elsewhere after much hesitation cause we feel like eating from crystal jade.

as usual, i had my usual favourite, sour spicy la mian although i've got like sore throat. heck lah! maybe i can take MC if i fall sick and that would mean one day of no work.

went for drink after dinner and they offer this 1-on-1 drink so quite worth it and i tried kahlua with milk. it tastes so like drinking chocolate milk. nice nice!

today was bored. i was merely ROTTING at office the whole day although i did one virus scan for one client and set up 2 emails for the other client through remote.

alright. i guess i shouldn't complain because it's just good for me that i get to be a vase instead of being asked to go to some client company and ended up not able to solve the problem. that would be so HELL for me.

now for some horror picture of the day. it's my left feet again. this time my big toe.
super irritating please. i think i cut too short already until it became swollen. there's yellow pus which i squeezed out already but it's still swollen. GRR~

hope it won't become worse. i don't miss TTSH. maybe if it gets worst, i will have to start wearing slippers to work again in my formal wear. now my socks are full of blood when i take them off after reaching home from work. so gross please.

week 10 in my attachment already. so happy when i flip to the 2nd page of the paper to let my supervisor sign today. it's like 7 more weeks to end all my sufferings. WOOHOO~

but GOSH! i just check my weekly logbook and my school supervisor said that she will go down soon. dead.

i think i better try to arrive on time for my work if not later she got to know that i'm always a late king i will be DEAD.

i know i won't miss tanjong pagar, raffles place, outram park walkway tunnel or my office when i finish my attachment. I KNOW and I SWEAR.

KBOX!!! like finally after a very very long time.

it was nice k-ing all the new songs and yah, sang until super shiok though the lunch for k-lunch sucks as usual. today they got this green peas which is so raw. macham you just pluck down from the tree that kind. yucks~

raining all day since yesterday so in the end, i didn't get to go to tan. sighs.

sky ar sky, please give sunshine to my weekends and not rain so that i can tan ok? HEEZ.

so fast my weekends are gone. tomorrow is another 5 more days of torture. *frowns*

BLUE day for me

watch "The Golden Compass" today. it's a super nice movie about a world where daemons and winged creatures live among ordinary humans, and an elusive entity called Dust has the power to unite the universes. the duration of the movie is 114 mins and the ending is ARGH~

i rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars!

the movie is a MUST watch movie if you like fantasy movies and i like the story for the daemon part. imagine our souls are in the form of daemon animals which you can talk to them. so interesting! for more information about the movie, you can go to the official movie website. there's a link to find out what's your daemon. mine's a butterfly at 1st try and at 2nd try i got a rat. maybe i'm as what the daemon explanation says, i'm still growing up so my daemon change shape, assuming all the forms that my potential inspires.

my daemon is the mouse Haythia and my character is proud, clever, spontaneous, responsible and modest. your daemon will be the opposite sex as the human so my mouse is a female mouse. HAHA.

walk around town after that and heeren first. saw benjamin giving out postcards outside heeren and finally i managed to take picture of sin huey, the project superstar 1 runner-up for girls. her big picture at urban hair salon. she really slim down a lot. gosh~

takashimaya after that. we went around all those HIGH END shops snapping pictures of pretty things. look at all this Tiffany & Co diamonds. really a WOO WAH!

can i have the blue carousel for my christmas gift this year? LOL.

Burberry shop after that and sibao saw this black handbag which she fell in love at first sight. guess the price? it's $2160 nett for goodness sake. total MADNESS.

sibao, i won't mind buying for you if i have a 2K and above salary every month because you are one of my very close friend like since secondary 1 (7 years & counting) but yah, now i'm just a poor student so TOO BAD.

finally got a presentable crocodile christmas gift for sherman because he gave me such an expensive polo tee for christmas gift so die die, i must give him something back because like what vickie says, christmas season is all about showing love, exchanging gifts.

nice day out though town is like freaking crowded with MANY people. i mean seriously, why can't those students go out on weekdays and leave the weekends for working life people like us? they like to squeeze the crowds? EEK! that's like super bullshit.

so not for me please. I HATE CROWDS!

work is just as bad today so i shall skip that part.

dinner with my exgirlfriend vickie. it has been long since i last saw her and owe her a dinner because i pang-seh her for the sushi buffet dinner date last minute.

we kept on arguing whose right about the raffles place shopping centre with subway and apparently i still don't know who is right cause the subway i went at raffles place wasn't the one above city link and it's at the tunnel inside raffles place.

sat at the pathetic table and looking at my sad face, we decided to change venue! went marina square subway, the one beside rocky master.

then, we started camwhoring about my GREEN addiction at subway.

fourskin shop after walking around quite a bit. i saw this nice round neck tee with a pocket and so after much persuasion from her, i decided to try my tee size and i'm right. i still belong to the XL size no matter how big they look on me if i didn't try.

every shopping centre are fully decorated with christmas decorations much less marina square. look at the grand decoration.

on the way back to the city link walk, went to a gift shop to get her christmas gift for her friend and took some nice pictures along the long walk to the mrt station.

and before i head for my sweet home, i went to book movie tickets using the AXS machince for the first time in my life. so "frog in a well" please. so much for me being in the IT line.

seriously, green things just make my day. somehow everything i saw and did today is GREEN. nice dinner cum shopping date with vickie. more outings next time ok? we shall camwhore more with your 5 megapixels camera hp.

it has been raining since morning. super cold weather. imagine i have to carry my small umbrella to go to the client company. when i reach there, my back is like so drenched.

updates on Angela 张韶涵 latest MV. she will be releasing her album pretty soon this month and this song is for the show "公主小妹" 片尾曲 which she acted with wu zhun recently. although the MV is not link to the scenes from the show, but the storyline of the MV is just as sad.

what's worth to watch it is because angela snipped off her long dreadlocks into the now short barbie doll hairstyle kind which lots of singers are doing it too. hmm...quite a dumb thing to do because what if long hair trend comes back? are they going to do an extension to their short hair?

this week so far has been good? maybe because i'm not a vase anymore, i get to do things.

i really miss school life and elva sms me in the afternoon saying that she saw felicia chin at SIM food court filming the campus food show. GRR~ to think she even send me a picture of felicia chin to HAO LIAN to me.

i think she's a friendly celebrity. to think that she pose for elva to take her pic i think? i didn't ask elva about how she took this pic but i guess felicia really pose for her to take.

went to help out sherman on his monthly newsletter after work and town after that for dinner. he treated me dinner. swensen's baked rice and share with him the fish and chips. dinner's really full for me. chatted for a while before heading home and before i alight to change to my line, he wish me merry christmas and pass me a lacoste paper bag.

i'm so shocked. i thought he was just kidding for me but he say nahz, it's for me. i opened it when i reach home and it's a blue polo tee and the size is just right on me. guess it must really cost him a lot. really thanks sherman for the early christmas gift!

the inside of the paper bag is like GREEN, my current favourite and the polo tee is like BLUE, my all time favourite colour. nice nice.

new staff came in today. he's from np also. major in networking like i do and he just finish his ns. hmm, kind of feel weird cause he's sitting behind me and he can see what i am doing.

msn-ing now is so much difficult for me unless he's out to client company.
sleeping in the office is so much difficult because there's an extra pair of eyes on me now.

well, today i'm so tired to do anything. reach office late and my boss reach there earlier than me again. gosh! sooner or later, i think he will CHOP OFF my head.

but i'm really TIRED. heck lah.

round ubin kayak race 2007!

oOit's the annual round ubin kayak race again!

gosh. this year's t-shirt is like EHH...yellow (addie's favourite banana colour). it's like so lifeguard feeling seeing people wear the tee.

this year's marathon route is kind of different because in the morning they had an urgent team manager's meeting and told them that they will want us to row in an anti-clockiwise direction instead of the clockwise direction because chek jawa that part is pretty bad in condition so they want us to start rowing there first before we reach there in the late part and realise that we can't get to paddle properly.

so we started off the race and gosh, chek jawa is HORRIBLE! a lot of boats capsized there and it's really the spot that either you survive in front or you are lagging behind a lot because by the time the life savers or speedboat save you, can really *yawns*.

anyway thanks partner for the rowing. it was great rowing together and telling ourselves that for every part of the journey, we row for all the ones we love. geraldine, alfred, elva, jiaying, junsheng and lots more. elva's part was bad because her blessings for us are those big waves that brings lots and lots of water into our boat. thanks hor GREEN.

luckily we still manage to maintain our position although we capsize like 200m to the ending point. you can really guess me scolding all the vulgarities out when we capsized because it's like reminding me of how me and weizheng capsize during national canoe marathon. we manage to eat 2 ntu boats and was like 3rd position when ending part we capsize and straight away all the boats of our category went pass us. totally sianz at that time.

congrats to alvin (1st T1 junior men), lex (2nd T1 senior men), dennis (3rd T1 senior men), serene and ME (3rd T2 mixed).

yesterday went out with my polymates and thanks jingjing so much for helping me to design the christmas e-card which my boss need me to do. thanks addie for helping me to edit that small flaw when i reached home and saw it.

today went kallang to move boats down to pasir ris PA water venture and woot! tomorrow is my last round ubin race as a NP rower. not really sure whether i'll be going back for any more competitive race after this but rest assured, i will do my best for tomorrow with my alliancey serene.

for those running standard chartered marathon tomorrow. junsheng, weilong, meng and maybe more whom i know but didn't know they are running, good luck for tomorrow also. make sure you all run your best cause i will row my best!

hmm, kind of feeling as nervous as how i felt when i was competing for the first time during my year one. HEE. alright i will be fine and i will finish it nicely.

it has been raining terribly heavily for this few days until the news just reported that some places in singapore are affected this afternoon.

is it a sign of blessings from the 5 young guys up there for all their loved ones?

a joint funeral for the 5 rowers will take place at the Mandai Crematorium tomorrow at 12.45pm. this arrangement was made at the request of family members, since the 5 paddlers share many friends and acquaintances. heard that the urn of them will be placed side by side each other also.

although i can't be there to see them off as much as i wish to as a fellow water sports lover like them, in my heart i wish them all the best in their journey. i'm sure they won't be lonely as they got one another for companion.

the every morning now which i live means so much more to me, for i know i should never take anything for granted and be thankful for everything that i have and are given. really, you 5 paddlers will be greatly missed by us.

rowing the 2 super big triangles today was good although i feel so CUI after that. alliance serene, we shall row this speed next sunday at round ubin. i will endure and you will endure too. together we shall conquer round ubin for the last time before we graduate. :D

*sighs* heard from the news that the 5 national team dragonboaters who went missing after their race were found already and they are all dead. although i don't really know them, but i have seen before the jeremy and reuben and somemore dragonboating and kayaking are like the closest sport to each other. even if we do not know this person, but at least we will ooohhhh...he/she is in kayaking or dragonboat.

just imagine an unrelated person like me feel so sad when i heard the news about them, much less their friends, loved ones and family members. sighs...

latest hot news. 5 dragonboaters representing Singapore were found missing at Cambodia.

The five had gone missing on Friday around 4:20pm, after their dragon boat capsized during the annual Cambodia—ASEAN Traditional Boat Race.

Reports say the incident took place as the crew of 22 was rowing back to the starting line at the end of the 1.5—kilometre Cambodia—ASEAN Traditional Boat Race.

According to Mr Kwek Siew Jin, President of the Singapore Dragon Boat Association, the boat was swept by a sudden wave and hit a pontoon, causing the boat to overturn.

Rescue boats were immediately deployed, but five of the crew could not be found.

They are said to have not worn lifejackets for this race.

17 other Singaporeans who were rescued were treated for minor injuries.

They’ve been discharged and are now staying in their hotel rooms.

Singapore’s Foreign Affairs Ministry and its Embassy in Cambodia say they are working with the local Cambodian authorities in the search and rescue operations and Singapore’s Ambassador to Cambodia is also at the location.

The Ministry says Singaporeans who are concerned about relatives and friends in Cambodia participating in the event can contact:

alfred say i'm whining again but thinking about it, yah i seem to be whining non-stop about how bad my attachment is since i started working. but then really, i dislike this working life i had now. it's so not my type and i can't do anything about it but to whine and whine.

watch another movie today "The Enchanted". it's a 108 mins duration movie about a classic Disney fairytale which collides with modern-day New York City in a story about a fairytale princess from the past who is thrust into present-day by an evil queen. soon after her arrival, Princess Giselle begins to change her views on life and love after meeting a handsome lawyer.

the twist in the story is quite expected but at least the prince and the princess live happily ever after. the princess is beautiful and i love the chipmunk. it's so cute and i feel the OUCH when it kanna click up onto the hanger and made to wear the "do not disturb" door hanger. the way it act out the story whereby he saw that the evil queen want to posion the princess to the prince is so hilarious. dumb but cute.

i rate it 3.5 out of 5 stars!

not a bad movie considering the fact that the director combine a real life modern world and the animated world life together. if you have not watch, then watch it cause the whole cinema is fully packed. the movie is the ranked the top pick of the week.

ns medical checkup

ns medical checkup at CMPB (Central Manpower Base) today.

i wore my new black spectacle to checkup. so weird wearing specs out and squeezing in the peak hour train. i felt that people were looking at me lah. like "eh, this guy so ugly please the thick black specs". well, heck care. at least they bother to look at me right? HA.

i didn't manage to take pictures of the place cause it's such a no camera place but yah, i saw mingsheng at the room where all the guys must take off their top section. so pai seh please. i did so many stupid things there which i think i'm like the only one who did it.

the urine part, it's suppose to dip the strip of paper into the urine which i pass out on the bottle but i thought is give them so i urine already bring out then the guy scold me. ask me go back into the toilet dip and bring out. OOPS =x

the remove top part we were suppose to go queue up for a locker key to put our belongings but i didn't know so i just open one locker and put my belongings in. after that then i realise that i must actually queue up. OOPS =x

the last part was the IQ test or self questionaire test whereby we have to use the computer to answer the questions so i was figuring out how to navigate after entering my IC no so i ask the guy beside me. haha. the questions is like HELL LOT and i do and do until when i finish doing, i got a bad headache. some maths question totally no logic so i anyhow put one number which i like. too lazy to think.

got this two booklet before i left the place. finished reading the small booklet but the big booklet got more information about ns life. i shall read it when i got the mood.

caught the movie "Beowulf" at the cathy, outside dhoby ghaut. my first time there. the trailer was nice but hmm, the storyline is kind of long and draggy. the duration of the movie is 114mins. all i can say is that the animated movie looks so real. the characters, scene, everything is so human-like. the seductive demon mother in the movie is so sexy lah. got wear heels de leh. LOL.

basically the storyline of the movie is about this mighty warrior Beowulf who slays the demon Grendel and incurs the wrath of its monstrous yet seductive mother in a conflict that transforms a king into a legend.

i rate it 3 out of 5 stars!

average movie with the beowulf nice body to WOW at, the sexy and hot figure of the demon mother to DROOL at and the graphics to AWW. nothing more.

next up. i want to watch "The Enchanted" and "The Golden Compass". please date me out if you are interested to watch.

it's a seriously SCREWED UP attachment.

i didn't do or learn anything meaningful so far this week and today i didn't have to go to the client company anymore so i was in the office whole day doing my own stuff like a vase.

hate this kind of feeling. nobody bothered to hear my story. all they heard was from that old bitch. i feel so mistreated. i mean alright take it as my fault then, but then no more task for me? if they want to treat me like that, what's the point of wanting an attachment student go there to work. don't tell me they expect the student to know everything? AIYA, don't know lah.

just hate the EMO me nowadays. NO i didn't watch too much emo drama until i become such an emo mama but it's because i'm living in a miserable life now. you know on the train to meet serene after work, i just feel like breaking down.

i don't like to bottle out my feelings. crying it out might seem sissy, girlish or whatever but if i still continue to hold up my emotion and not let it out. i really don't know what will i become.

RP invitational race team manager meeting was alright except for the getting lost in the school. so embarassing. nonetheless i manage to take some pictures of the school.

it's a BIG spacious nice poly with their atrium air-conditioned also. the library is wah, just shiok please. the school has a lot of slope from one level to the other. good for doing sprint runs up the long slope sia. haha!

seriously i think it's time np renovate the whole school. i don't believe np poorer than rp please.

handed up my proposal after chiong-ing until 2am yesterday night.

this morning i was feeling refresh despite the late night but the moment i reach the client company, i was asked to solve the computer and phone problem so i sat down and manage to solve the phone problem. after that i began solving the computer problem but that OLD BITCH call my boss directly and tell him to come down cause she need help.

i was like HUH! please leh. you think i god is it? can solve all the problem in a twink of an eye. FUCK leh. and i seriously can't be bothered to censor my vulgar. FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!

no wonder so old already still nobody wants. nobody to FUCK you.

now i got instruction from my boss not to go there tomorrow in the morning already and to straight away go office instead. HAPPY? if this is what she wants, FINE!

thinking back, time really pass very fast in poly. soon we will all be graduating and again into our next phase of our life. really, i hope we still can be in contact with each other and let our friendship continue.

ha! what's with me? this few weeks keep on think back of the past, those memories which i had and yearn for the future to come quickly yet not appreciating the present.

rp invitational race selection today. sprint with partner chin koon was bad. wasn't on form. *sighs* and race is just next saturday.

went town after training with the some of the juniors cause mark want to get a new crumpler bag. bump into minzhen and she told me that maybe december got class gathering. woot! si bao ar si bao, go leh. we have been missing from the class gathering for so long already.

tried this tee "Boys Need Love Too" with a emo face below which i feel like buying at cineleisure num. the "canoeing" tank top only got yellow colour. i so like the "canoe polo" colour but i'm canoe sprint, not canoe polo. GRR! why they so bias. should put canoeing also, then got more people buy.

oh yah i went to make a new spectacles frame for my ns and the person say only plastic black. it's cheap. frame + lens only @ $98.

will get it on wednesday, before my medical checkup on thursday. will take pictures and post if i'm in good mood. ha!

HELL HELL HELLLLLL!!!!!!

i swear i so hate attachment. it's killing all my brain cells and lowering my confidence level more.

one moment this printer got problem, the other moment somebody's computer got problem. solve finish sit down butt have not warm the chair, the dell person come to replace the spoiled monitor. *faints* after that i still got the company build to do and about 20 desktops to install the printer drive. gosh~

when i try the 2nd pc, my admin password can't log in so i call up to seek for help but after he help me activate my admin rights and ask me to try, i can go in. BUT as soon as he put down phone and i try again, i can't go in again. ROAR! i really got bad luck with IT products. printer, computer all playing me out.

work until 1 plus 2 then walk back to my office for lunch and after i went back after buying my lunch, my boss said that the client company just called and ask me not to do anything to their computer again, wait for my supervisor to come back from wedding and do. zZzZz. after listen to what my boss said, my heart really HAIZ. am i really that noob and incapable. at least i tried to help them solve until over my lunch time i also never grumble. sighs! this is what i get for all the shit.

late afternoon went to another client company at henderson road to install antivirus and the block before this company, it's EMI. i was like WAH, i don't know EMI company is there.

HAHA. guess what? i actually took a lift up to EMI and took some pictures at the entrance when there's nobody around. the company looks really nice from outside. it's like jolin tsai, sun yan zi, luo zhi xiang blah blah music company.

training today was great! i finally get to run after so long of not running because of my swollen feet. rowing was fine after coach cher teach us some align thingy. did some sprints and hmm, some were bad, some were good but still more room for improvement. i believe the chins' can acheive far more than that.

damm "cui" sia. i fell asleep on the sofa after dinner and my fatty didi of mine push me away. GRR!

raining day nice to sleep especially when monday to friday you work like hell and it's finally one day off to enjoy.

i wanted to go swim and run but see the rainy weather after eating breakfast i continue sleep again until dinner time wake up. like hibernation day. HA!

my mama went over to my grandma's place to offer prayings to my grandpa and she come back saying royston is so cute. my aunt scolded royston how come in toilet so long still have not shit finish and he tell his mum see lah, how come born him with such a small asshole, of cause can't shit very fast. WAHAHA. funny royston. i miss seeing him. heard from my mum he grow chubby already.

one more day of weekend to enjoy for tomorrow before back to work. YUCKS.

today sort of screw up things in the client company. i couldn't build up the new build for the company and the ang mo boss asked me how much IT knowledge do i have. STUNNED please. i totally don't know how to answer him.

that's the bad thing when my boss bluff me into the the client company. everyone assume i'm someone who have had experience with lots of computer stuffs and not an attachment student. haiz~

i went back to the office and told my boss what happened and he said that the client is a big one so i better hope that everything is alright if not they will lose the annual contract with them. that made me feel more guilty of screwing things up. *sighs* i really did my best but i'm still a noob what.

thanks to serene and meiteng for comforting me cause i felt so down back in the office.

went town after work to meet sibao and agnes. it has been so long since i last saw them. far east plaza shopping. can you guess we actually shop there from 7 plus to 9 plus. accompany sibao to buy her clothes for her cousin's wedding. so envious that she bought so many items but the dress really suit her. suddenly she become so gorgeous ("亮丽"). wear more of those kind of clothes. it makes you look really nice. :D

bought a nice low v-neck tee at jean pierre, those which you can wear a polo tee/collar shirt and wear this tee over.

anyway i did something something to my face. not a big difference but should be able to see if slowly see in detail. LOL. slowly guess.

a big hole ripped off my bank account after clearing 1 expensive item on my wishlist.

it's a new pair of asics ds trainer running shoes which i got for myself as my adidas running shoes CUI already after accompanying me since year 1. this cost me $159 after walking around queensway trying to look for a cheaper price but apparently all the shops offer the same price after discount.

i wanted to get the green one which jiajun has but the guy say that red is the newer colour that came after green and it looks nicer when dirty cause i saw the display when both green and red are dirty. haha!

there goes my first pay. can't wait for my next pay 3 weeks later but i shall promise myself to save as much as i can because i want to go holiday when i graduate. that is a promise i made to myself.

*sighs* today i was getting ready to go work when i saw black spots on my face. kaoz! so sad please. i went to research online and they suggested using a toner after cleansing my face so after work, i went guardian to get myself a toner. hope it helps. GRR!

Singapore River Regatta 2007 @ s'pore river raffles place over the weekend.

ngee ann canoeing, sprinting team took part for the 2nd time in this event. last year we took part and didn't make it into the semi.

however...

this year we made it into the plate finals though *sighs* got 4th so nothing to bring back but really, it's not bad already considering the fact that we only train like 3 weeks before the race and remember! we aren't dragonboaters so yah we ROCK!

don't feel sad lawrence that you didn't row at all even though you come for training because you still have 2 more years. even though you didn't join us on the boat but remember that your spirit is with us on the boat.

for the team: you people are really great! it really show how much we can do it as a whole sprinting team. hopefully next year we can bring back something. don't be disappointed ok because you all really gave in your best. perhaps we are still short of that little bit of luck to the top 3 places.

it's end of the month yesterday and i got my first day for attachment. woohoo! though not a lot, just $200 excluding my claim taxi fare but better than nothing after slogging out like hell.

finally get to meet up with my poly friends. although it's tiring to meet up after work but with them, i really feel relaxed so it's worth it. meiteng, jingjing and karen ask me why i cut my hair until so short, not nice but ha! no choice, got ns checkup and the letter state that must be short hair so cut first since i don't have time to cut because i'm only free during weekend but it's all taken up for training.

well, i also don't like cause it's like my hairstyle when i first step into poly year one. so noob looking like that but soon lah, my hairstyle will be back for a few more months before becoming botak. ha!

watch "The Game Plan" after such a long time since i last movie-d.

not a heavy movie to digest. light simple comedy movie with quite a touching scene at the last part. not bad to relax after working your ass out non-stop.

dragonboat training for regatta was nice. finally get to see jiaying after so long. glad she's back rowing this regatta with us but miss elva! thought she would come back to row also. sighs.

anyway i ROW-ed today. super happy please. it's like 2 weeks since i touch kallang water. super hot weather today and it rain heavily when we ended training. in the end we had to wait there for quite long before we finally get to bath.

in love with peppermint recently. peppermint ice-cream, peppermint bubble tea. woot~ green colour somemore. nice colour eh. =)

tired to the max! i was lying on bed yesterday night after watching tv and reading magazine and the next thing i knew i wake up at 1+ pm. really sleeping god but well, really very tired from attachment. i hate working life. no wonder my papa always say that can study then study.

halloween is around the corner, on Oct 31 if i'm not wrong and guess what? i saw this cute ice cream on my fridge. so CUTE until i feel like eating it. =D

anyway for those who didn't notice, this week u-weekly magazine is on kelly poon about her having the intention of giving up singing as her career before.

i'm feel so demoralised today.

went alone to a client company way way inside boon lay at benoi road to solve their company's pc problem. *sighs* they really use their pc until POWER. anyhow download antivirus software, install this and that then now the whole computer system slow down. duhz. outlook express also got connection problem until i try and try but cannot solve.

hope mr andrew will accompany me down the next trip to help me solve them cause i really tried my best. not that i doubt myself to solve those problems but i really tried to solve them. *sighs* suddenly i feel so helpless, like battling the whole field of enemy soldiers alone.

adding on to my sadness, i couldn't make it on time for regatta training at kallang cause i left the client company at 6pm and training starts at 6.30pm. imagine travelling from the very inside of boon lay to kallang. so impossible. i felt so upset that i promise my partner and my alliancey for turning up when in the end i couldn't turn up. HATE making empty promises. that's so not me. *sighs*

tomorrow is friday! one more week gone. i really feel very happy that attachment is coming closer to an end. maybe not. but ehh.....15 weeks more to go!

well, it just make me more clearer of what kind of job i want to work as next time.

i'm so happy today although i just reached home after my OT because i learn something today.

was at suntec convention hall setting up this 15 laptop meant for this german bank. wah! quite shock when ask to use the command prompt ("chao ta") file to ping, map and join the workgroup domain together for the 15 laptop. it's like suddenly all the networking practical which mr francis taught all come to use. SCARY leh! it's like now doing practical solo.

quite no confidence cause i don't know correct or not then my boss keep on ask me to try if i think correct. pengz~ like click until my hand can shiver kind cause if wrong, i wonder what look he will give me.

domain controller, workgroup vs domain, dns, ups all suddenly like come back again. luckily last semester i got listen to lesson if not i really DIE in this attachment.

one shocking thing! eh, my boss live in sengkang. *faints* he drove me home just now. so nice of him and on the way he talk to me about networking infrastructure stuffs how they work. now i got things to write on report already. phew~

suddenly i realise that working in IT industry when no work to do really BORED until.....but when got work to do, really squeeze your brain juice until so tired.

alright, bless me luck for the week. hope i can solve IT problems smoothly.

went for my review checkup at TTSH early in the morning. my left feet is alright, just that the doctor advise me to wait for my wound to close up before i touch sea water. ROAR~

went to "blackrock", a client company at shenton way today in the morning. kind of rot there for a while because nothing cropped up in the system. phew! the company is on storey 29 and the company design is woot. thumbs up. they got a big glass window which you can look down and see the sea. aww~ i shall try to snap some pictures if i can.

tomorrow my supervisor on leave so i will have to face the battle myself in the morning before my next supervisor also the boss turn up. gosh. STRESS.

feel so tired today after thinking hard and researching how to do my assignment that the company give me.

now i understand how come alfred say attachment finish tired until.....where still got mood to train cause tired already.

well, no excuse! tired then sleep early so that next morning wake up will feel more energised!

first day attachment! so excited yet nervous about what's going to happen.

went my family doctor in the morning to let him change my dressing and he went to "dig" my wound until i almost scream. then he say is to remove the dead skin. grr~ after that he wrap my leg like a big dumpling. look so exaggerated please.

off to the workplace whereby level 1 to 6 all is junsheng's friend the blangadesh people. waited outside for a while cause my attachment supervisor haven't reach and did some camwhoring. *HEH HEH*

maybe it's the first day at work so he let me slack for hmm, not a bit but quite a lot then suddenly give me 2 BIG assignments which kind of shock me cause i'm doing it like solo for this time.

well, chinchong! you got to grow up ya? attachment will be over in a twink of an eye so jiayou and face all the challenges ahead. i can do it!!!

quite bored today cause only me and my attachment supervisor in the office. he's not talkative neither am i cause i don't want to leave a bad impression. tomorrow he's bringing me to some client's workplace at raffles city to teach me. yeah! hope i got thing to learn.

back from fcc + hospital

i'm back!

sorry for the late posting cause i went in the hospital after booking out from fishy canoeist camp on sunday.

thursday npdb regatta was great. committee boat got the champion! wee o wee~ but then i cut my feet that day and i sort of ignore it so the wound swell and became worst. friday while having camp i got fever and ate panadol.

it's only later on that i realised that my fever might be due to the leg infection that i went to see doctor on saturday when the rest of them go to sentosa for their activities.

when i went home on sunday after camp, my papa was quite angry. he told my mama to send me back to school since i like staying in school when my swell on my feet was so bad. after dinner i couldn't really walk properly already so he send me to the doctor and the doctor refer me to the hospital cause he said that it's quite terrible already.

and that's how i found myself lying in the hospital since sunday until today cause the doctor said that my swell must become better before i can be discharged.

ahh! i was so bored this few days inside the hospital cause i only had the bed and toilet with me. no tv, no laptop, no internet access. that's why i take so many pictures. heez.

seriously i wanted to take 1 emo shot using that window. like sitting down on the floor looking out of the window. nice right? but got other patients around so i don't want them to think that i'm mentally unstable. eh, there won't be a next time cause i don't want to go back again! choy ar~

really almost a week since i really got on my own bed and have a long sleep. tonight i can finally enjoy the time with my dearest bed! HEHE.

i'm back after 3 days of hardcore training!

so tired after all the trainings we had this 3 days. not a bad camp i should say. now i just can't feel the lower half of my body. the running to rifle range is my worst nightmare for this camp maybe because of the fact that we haven't been running until the end for a long time.

alright, i'm not complaining cause it's kind of shiok to do so much training. SHIOK ar~

last week before school reopen. i'm going to school for my attachment briefing tomorrow. *sighs*

suddenly don't feel like starting attachment cause i'm alone working in the company without my cliques in class.

well, we have to learn to grow up right? i'm sure i will survive!

Happy Birthday to Brian & Chee How!

went for the bbq at east coast and was late as usual cause i overslept. heez! ate a lot of satays and chicken wings until i'm having a sore throat now.

town at night to celebrate brian's birthday. ate pastamania at cineleisure and watch "balls of fury".

it's a comedy 90mins movie with this fat caucasian guy acting and i bet many of you would curse him cause he got the chance to get so close to the hot and sexy maggie Q. it's like totally mismatch for the couple.

i rate the movie 3 stars out of 5.

it's a movie for relaxtion purposes where you just laugh it out and drool at every scene maggie Q appear. heez.

collected 2 albums at one go today. kelly's and jolin's album. woot~

i think she really looks prettier with long hair. the style that she's incorporating for this album is a bit hip hop i guess. total different feel from her first album. that's good. i haven't really start listening to her album but i hope it's nice.

nowadays i'm really like a SLEEPING GOD. today i slept until late morning than slowly make my way to school to meet miss june. on the bus to school i sleep until duhz, damm no image. haha!

can't imagine that my seniors told me that they want to get back what they have lost for ncc during the rp invitational race coming soon but look at the attitude and the rate they are going now. i won't be surprise if the team still get trash again. really.

well, on the bright side. today i let the year 1s try k boat and eric can row raptor already. darren and alex still not that steady but can row tiger already. woot!

jiun granted my leave today so i went home for my family celebration. heard from my mama that while she was checking her toto results, there was an earthquake around singapore at 7 plus. that was like i'm still on the bus? maybe i'm so into my dreamland that i didn't feel the bus shaking.

my birthday cake! sad to say, now i'm $20 don't need change already. so OLD please. gosh. it's like the number 2 in front of my age.

despite this busy week with caps india stuffs, i still manage to squeeze time out with my poly mates this evening.

so funny lah. they keep on want me treat dinner but it's alot of people so yah, sorry! i'm a poor student. ha! we wanted to eat at fish and co but realised that the price a bit steep so we walk out after sitting down for quite a while. change to crystal jade and i ordered my usual spicy and sour noodle. so nice please.

thanks to my poly mates - meiteng, karen, shihua, chee how, chin chuan, weiqiang, mingsheng, jeremy and jingjing for celebrating for me.

after dinner we went to walk walk around carrefour and later on they tricked me until suntec fountain of wealth there then suddenly karen pop up with a birthday cake as i was busy taking picture of the nice fountain.

after cutting the cake, they wanted me to remove the candle and birthday cake tag then i faster remove when they not looking but orh, still kanna cake by meiteng and karen. they put wasabi on my cake but couldn't taste the wasabi though. maybe the quality was poor. haha!

so touched when they asked me to go down and listen to the dedication they made for me. the song dedicated was "angels brought me here". aww~

so thoughtful of them to buy me a formal shirt to wear for my attachment. now i have one less top to buy for attachment.

finally jolin tsai's "Agent J" album pre-order is out. for jolin fans, there's 2 versions of the pre-order. the album is CD+DVD and the free gift is either free xie zhen or free making of agent j plus calendar. watch the 娱乐百分百 as jolin introduce how this 2 versions are like.

the calendar seems not nice and the mv is being shown at the end of the show so i think i'm buying the xie zhen version cause it's 60 pages of pictures. *drools*

went to row today and when we are starting to do our 2nd sprint, the rain got even heavily until the vision out at sea was blurred and the raindrops seems like millions falling on you until you can't even raise your head. thanks partner for lending me your cap cause my right eye contact lens almost drop out. so unlucky today. i actually forgot to bring my cap for training of all days.

pang-seh partner, alvin and the freshies for lunch because i need to go back to school to book rooms and to meet sibao for movie at town.

cathy food is nice! it cost around $6.50 a meal with drinks if you take the coupon to purchase. nice jug they provide. it makes you just want to steal it home after drinking.

i rate it 3 out of 5 stars!

Considering that this is a PG/Horror movie, i don't really find it horror at all. the storyline is kind of confusing for me. maybe i haven't read any of Stephen King's books before, that's why i don't understand whether did he died in the end but one thing i know for sure is that anyone who enters this level 14 of the hotel with the room number 08, he/she will not make it out of the room after an hour.

does it sounds scary to you? maybe it does but tell me what is your rating of the movie after watching. ha!

anyway there's another japanese horror movie coming out soon. it's called "Apartment 1303". it's a japanese production compared to "1408" which is an american production so i guess it might be more scary?

sea training today was great although 7 people turned up only. ha! guess all still holiday mood.

coach cher made us row dragonboat with canoe expedition paddle individually. damm tiring cause the boat keep on go the other direction when we row on this side. ha.

k1 today was nice. next week coach cher said that he will bring down video to video our strokes and analyse so SPRINTERS! please turn up next sunday for training. no more slacking cause rp invitational race is coming.

lots of things to accompolish this semester holiday. however difficult it is, i shall accept all these challenges.

i'm gonna be fine ya.

caps india expedition recce trip to m'sia pengerang today was nice. first time travelling out of singapore without my parents.

i guess more to come cause i will want to travel out of country myself when i graduate. i want to go taiwan or hong kong to shop!

anyway things at m'sia was certainly cheap. imagine we had "zhi cha" and it's like 12 ringget per person after dividing by 5 people. 4 dishes, one plate of rice for each person and drinks. gosh~ i like the oat cereal prawn. so nice!

hmm, i shall pester darren and lionel to send me all the pictures for today cause they brought digi cams.

training resume tomorrow. woohoo! i feel so fat and fair after so long of not exercising. let us get tan and fit ya? =)

exams OVER! yup it's my last paper and hopefully my last paper in ngee ann polytechnic. *cross fingers* just hope i can clear everything and go on to attachment next semester.

clarke quay central to shop but there aren't any shops nice so went vivo.

i found the GREEN cardigan i want to get for very long at "crocodile" shop. the cardigan is damm nice please. i saw one guy wearing it when i was working at amk hub. he accompanied his gf or wife in and wah, the moment i saw it, i knew it's going to be expensive cause it's "crocodile" brand.

not very clear cause the fitting room light is quite bright. the stripes are in dark green yellow green.

don't be mistaken. i didn't buy 2 cardigan but because the cardigan is $119 plus but the sales person say that left a few available sizes only so the price is $89 after discount. in the end i bought a white v-neck tee and men's brief to make it to $100 for the membership card. it's a lifetime membership card with 15% discount off all regular priced items. heez.

broke now after spending 100 bucks plus on branded goods. haha!

tried this white jeans at "spade" and it looks nice. it's not tight fitting nor skinny jeans, just straight cut jeans @ $69.90.

walk pass this shop and they got this big ice cream figure in the shop display. *drools*

topshop topman! i took 3 items in and try. the top which i wanted to buy not really nice. the white skinny jeans is SUPER tight until my legs cannot breathe. or is it my legs too fat? the blue skinny jeans cutting is slightly not that tight and nice. but blue colour leh, so jeans colour. i want to get white jeans be it skinny or straight cut!

the top @ $49. white skinny jeans and blue skinny jeans @ $89. wah! this shall be my motivation to try and squeeze time out to work during holidays so that i can go on more shopping spree.

what a way to relieve stress after exams. now my pocket hole is burnt.

today is Royston's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY my cute little cousin!

my mama happened to win quite a bit yesterday for her 4D (erm, a 4 digit figure not to be disclosed here) so she asked her sister out to celebrate her son birthday also. *grins*

before meeting up with them, my mama went to buy some household stuffs at a shop. it's very cheap at amk outside those shophouses. my mama said that the shop owner is actually the first hand person to get the goods and supply out, that's why he sell until so cheap. my brother and me bought gatsby moving rubber. it's only $6.50 for one. so cheap!

had pizza hut's cheese fondue pizza meal since both royston and my didi has been wanting to try that for a long time.

the cheese dip wasn't so nice as what we thought it would be. quite salty though so in the end my cousins and my didi use the other substitute for the cheese.

amk hub singtel after that because it's one year again. my papa phone contract entitle him to a $500 voucher. this year i'm not planning to buy new phone so in the end my mama got herself the nokia mp3 phone, my papa a new spare phone and myself, a long waited 2Gb memory stick for my handphone. ha! one more wishlist item cleared.

on top of that my mama just pass to me 100 bucks to go shopping for my birthday which still have not arrive yet. LOL. wah lao eh, tempting sia. exam not yet finish she want me go shopping. alright, that shall be my motivation to endure and mug hard for the exams. heez.

oh yah. i was grumbling to lex, addie, serene and maybe others about this 16 year old boy who grabbed my photos on friendster and use on his account. guess what? i went to his account to report his account to the friendster admin and they suspended his account. HAHA! serve him right for using my photos.

suddenly i feel that buy 4D may not be a bad thing also right? who knows if you win, you get yourself more pocket money. ha! but i think i still won't buy. what if i kanna addicted to gambling? such a bad habit.

anyway, just hope that my parents win more 4D and if possible TOTO so that i got more money from them. LOL.

enjoy this song from A-mei 张惠妹 latest album "Star".

the tune of this song is by 曹格 Cao Ge. this duet she sing with this guy 萧敬腾, who won the PK competiton in taiwan when he went to PK this hot favourite powerful singer 杨宗纬 in the 超级星光大道, taiwan so called superstar competition.

the duet is not bad thought there's lot of critics saying that the guy is just barely singing out the feel of the song on the surface while A-mei is going deep into the song. there's also people saying that a-mei vocal is too strong to match the guy's vocal.

for myself, i prefer A-mei way of telling out the song but i won't deny that the guy's way of telling the story is bad. overall, it's a pretty nice job done for this song no doubt if Cao Ge really sing with A-mei, he will definitely emote the song better because of his experience.

well, give the new singers a chance to learn ya? i'm sure they would become much better in the days to come.

7th month & flashpoint

today is the 1st day of the 7th month in the chinese calendar. the chinese call this period, the hungry ghost festival.

i still don't have the study mood sia. *sighs*

today went out for movie again. "Flashpoint" starring donnie yen and louis koo.

the movie was so-so. i think "Invisible Target" which i watched the last time was so much better. a 90 mins movie with an ordinary storyline. maybe what's nice is that the fighting scene is much more nicer cause donnie yen acted before in many action pack movie and the way he fights is nicer.

oh well, louis koo didn't fight as much as donnie yen but his tan is just so nice lah! when will i have his tan? LOL.

i rate it 3 out of 5 stars!

it's a movie which you would want to consider if you have watched finish all the latest movie out so far or that louis koo is your idol.

relay duathlon 2007 & secret

relay duathlon 2007 went smoothly as planned. although there were lots of things to do, but really, a BIG thanks to all who chip in and helped. without you all, the whole event wouldn't be so successful.

next big event coming up would be CAPS India '07. now is my turn to stress for that. haha!

finally, the S.H.E (liwei.oilian.me) met up after such a long time. went to watch SECRET as planned because we want to see how's jay chou virgin movie. ha!

hmm, the movie wasn't that bad. quite a good storyline which nobody expected i guess. at least it's not those ending which you will say CHEY. not long not short movie. 102 mins duration.

the ending was touching. there were tears on my eyes, but not yet cry out. overall, not a bad work by jay considering it's his virgin movie. jay's super cool playing the piano!

i rate it 4 out of 5 stars!

i guess i'm once again so in love with the song he sang for this movie. i haven't been listening for that quite a while but after watching the movie today, i think i will play and play to listen once again cause it's so nice!

i'm BACK! miss blogging like hell cause i simply got no more energy to come online and blog after i reach home from the funeral this few days.

i managed to persuade my mama to go home early the night before sunday so that i can go for sea training. HEEZ. sorry team i couldn't join you all for the team dinner.

the 2 new puppies at SDBA are so cute!

hope they last long cause every dog at SDBA doesn't live up to old age. either they MIA or get squashed up by the big piece of metal container with 4 wheels (quoted from alfred). LOL.

this few days i had fun looking after my little cousin, Royston. he's so adorable, always with the smiling face whenever you see him. he's just 4 years old and looking at him, i really envy him. it's so nice being young because you got nothing to care about unlike us now. we have just so much things to worry about.

today was the day whereby we have to go to the place to burn the coffin. i can't help but admit that i couldn't control myself but teared at the place where we get to see the process of the coffin being push in to burn. the first time i saw it was when i was in secondary 2 when my grandpa (papa's side) passed away.

no words can describe how i felt at that moment of time but one thing i know for sure is that i realise how important my parents is in my heart. i don't want to lose them. i want to have them for as long as possible.

my mama's papa (my grandpa) just pass away early in the morning at 2 plus.

i remember i was tossing on bed trying hard to sleep at around one plus and when i'm already in my dreamland, my mama wake me up to tell me that she and papa is going off to the hospital.

just reach home from the funeral. quite bored there. must help to set up the tables, clear rubbish and fold the incense paper.

i guess this shall be my normal routine there for the next few days.

mama seems ok although i can see her teary eyes at the funeral. hope she's fine.

i haven't been blogging for days because always reach home late at night.

mon was training. tues was work. wednesday was training, today is caps india meeting and tomorrow work. ha!

anyway today just finish my demo on ecad. so many problems occured while presenting. well, everything is over already so i shall just focus on mugging hard for the final exams. i want to clear everything at one go.

now in library ROTTING. my classmates all go watch "black sheep" and i got to stay in school until 6pm for caps india meeting. *sighs*

good news! i finally finish watching "MVP 情人" after such a long time. the final episode is so touching and i almost cried in the library. so pai seh but i control lah. hehe.

now moving on to "Triumph In The Skies". =)
